UDX is seeking Cloud Automation Engineers with a deep understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), cloud-native technologies, cloud resource management, scripting languages, automation tools, and modularization to join UDX cloud automation group (CAG).
We are a ten-plus-year veteran-owned small business (VOSB) operating out of North Carolina and Ukraine, that help business and organizations leverage cloud computing and build custom automation solutions. We need you to increase our CAG capacity to develop and implement automated solutions for our clients and internal platform improvements.

What you'll do
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and leverage IaC methodologies using tools like Terraform to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources.
- Automate the software delivery process, from code integration and testing to deployment, enhancing the speed and reliability of software releases.
- Implement Configuration-as-Code practices to manage and automate the configuration of cloud resources and tooling.
- Adopt YAML Standards for defining and managing cloud architecture and configurations. You'll use YAML to define configurations for environments, deployments, services, and other cloud resources.
- Containerize various runtime and tooling environments with Docker to ensure a consistent ecosystem in a cloud-agnostic manner.

- Proven experience as a full-stack or cloud engineer.
- Experience in using IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, etc.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell.
- Experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- 12-factor application development understanding.
- High deep understanding level of modularization and reusability.
- Experience in utilizing Kubernetes, Google Cloud, AWS, Firebase, and Elastic Cloud.
- Understanding of software packaging, versioning/tagging, containerization, and Docker.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
