UDX is seeking DevSecOps Engineers with a deep understanding of CI/CD management, coding practices, threat modeling, security risk assessments, automated security testing, and incident response to join UDX infrastructure operations team (InfraOpsTeam).
We are a ten-plus-year veteran-owned small business (VOSB) operating out of North Carolina and Ukraine, that help business and organizations leverage cloud computing and build custom automation solutions. We need you to increase our InfraOpsTeam capacity to develop and implement automated solutions for our clients and internal platform improvements.

What you'll do
- Work with the development teams to ensure implementation and security of CI/CD pipelines, including secure coding practices, code reviews, and automated security checks.
- Utilize YAML Standards for defining and managing cloud architecture and configurations.
- Integrate security into all phases of software development, from initial requirements to code deployment.
- Identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities, assess their impact, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Implement automated security testing tools and processes to identify and fix security issues early in the development process.
- Participate in security incident response activities, including identifying, analyzing, and responding to security incidents.
- Promote a culture of security awareness within the development team, including providing training and guidance on secure coding practices.
- Research, recommend, and implement new security tools and technologies to enhance security posture.

- Proven experience in a DevSecOps role, with solid software development and information security background.
- Deep knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, lifecycles, and environments.
- Experience with various security tools, such as static/dynamic analysis tools, security testing tools, and vulnerability scanning tools.
- Confident utilizing REST APIs and Webhooks.
- Familiarity with scripting languages, such as Bash, Powershell, etc.
- Understanding relevant security standards and regulations, such as ISO 27001, NIST.
- A commitment to continuous learning and staying up-to-date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices in DevSecOps.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform under pressure.
