UDX is a small team, and the work sorts into four lanes. The shares below are engineering hours logged in 2026 to date. The first lane is covered. The other three are where we are hiring, either because the person carrying the lane is one person deep or because the seat is open.

Who We Hire

We hire people who leave a paper trail. Every hour of work maps to a GitHub issue, every change is a pull request, and every day leaves a comment. It is how we bill, how we prove work to clients, and how anyone on the team can pick up a task six months later and know what happened.

The team is small and senior. There is no project management layer between you and the founders, and no ticket queue between you and the client. You will be in client repositories on day one, with administrative access earned slowly and references checked.

UDX is a service-disabled veteran-owned small business founded in 2011 and headquartered in Durham, North Carolina, with a distributed engineering team across the US and Europe. If that sounds like how you already work, we would like to hear from you.
